Scion FRS (GT86, BRZ) vs Mazda RX-8 vs Honda S2000

Yet another Toyobaru test. This time, it’s compared with one of the big Japanese cars that set the bar up high in the motor world. The FRS is powered by a 2.0-liter boxer engine capable to produce 200hp and 205Nm of torque, this engine pushes the car fast enough to do a 0-100km/h sprint in 6.6 seconds. The teenagers dream, the Honda S2000, has 240hp and 220Nm coming from a 2.2-liter VTEC, being a bit more powerful than the FRS, this car manages a 0 to 100km/h sprint in only 5.7 seconds. With the smallest engine from these 3, the RX-8 is still more powerful than the FRS, having 232hp and 206Nm delivered by the 1.3l boxer engine, even with this little engine, it manages to do a 0-100km/h sprint in 6.5 seconds, which is still quicker than the Scion, even if by a bit.
