Ferrari F40

By all accounts, the Ferrari F40 is not an easy car to drive, nor is it comfortable, silent or in any way practical. The seating position is even worse than what the Italians have gotten us used to in more recent years, and trying to have a conversation with a passenger while on the move is apparently near-impossible.

However, should you be given an F40 to drive on Swiss mountain roads, all of the above pales when the 2.9-liter turbocharged V8 is woken up. EVO had a wonderful day in one, driving it on a twisty mountain pass in Switzerland, and even if it’s not really the car’s natural habitat, it was still a hoot.
